Pipelines Division conducts Football Tournament 2024 at Chennai
Mr S K Palit, ED (HR), extended his best wishes to NRPL Ninjas, ERPL Rangers, WRPL Warriors, SRPL Samurais, SERPL Spartans and PLHO Titans. He said that the event will be full of energy, engagement, and enjoyment. “Happiness and people connect are deep in our hearts. Such events not only help us to realise our inner strength but also help in building camaraderie among us. As we engage in spirited competition for these two days, let us remember that the true essence of sports lies in the ability to face challenges with a positive spirit”, said Mr Palit. The tournament was inaugurated by Mr Sanjay Kumar Vasudevan, ED & RH, South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL). In his address, Mr Vasudevan welcomed all the sportspersons to this momentous occasion. He also said that this tournament will be a symbol of fair play, determination and the unifying power of the world’s most beloved sport. “We’ll witness skilful plays, breath-taking goals and the determination that defines the essence of football”, said Mr Vasudevan. Mr Shailesh Tiwari, ED & RH, Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), in his welcome address, expressed his pleasure and excitement to extend a warm welcome to each participant. “As we stand here surrounded by the echoes of anticipation, let us celebrate the spirit of competition and camaraderie that unites us all. This tournament is not just a collection of matches. It is a showcase of talent, sportsmanship and the joy that comes from the beautiful game”, said Mr Tiwari. Mr Sanjeev Kumar Kanojia, ED & RH, Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Mr Amit Dasgupta, ED & RH, Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Mr Venkataramanan G, CGM I/c, Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Mr Rajiv Ranjan, CGM (HR), Pipelines Head Office (PLHO), Mr Chandra Kishore, CGM (ES), PLHO, Mr F X J Benedicto, CGM (O), Mr Balakrishna Naik D, CGM (HR) were also present during the football tournament.
