“R&D Centre to spearhead the energy transition of IndianOil and the nation”, exhorts Chairman during 53rd Foundation Day celebrations of IndianOil R&D at Digboi Refinery
“R&D is set to play a significant role in realising the changing energy paradigm of India and IndianOil”, said Mr S M Vaidya, Chairman, during the 53rd Foundation Day celebrations of IndianOil R&D held at Digboi Refinery (DR). “India is on the roll to become a Five-Trillion-Dollar economy by 2030 and we need to leverage the opportunities emerging in this journey”, Chairman added. The 53rd Foundation Day celebration of IndianOil R&D was held at the historic Digboi Refinery, the first time outside the campus of the R&D Centre, Faridabad. The celebrations were led by Chairman, IndianOil, in the presence of Ms Sukla Mistry, Director (Refineries), Mr Sujoy Choudhury, Director (P&BD), Addl. Charge of Director (HR), Mr Anuj Jain, Director (Finance) and Mr Alok Sharma, Director (R&D). Prof Konstantin Novoselov, Nobel Laureate in Physics and Professor at the National University of Singapore, was the Guest of Honour of the event, which was well attended by senior IOCians from across divisions, members from R&D and North-East refineries at the Digboi Refinery Club. On this occasion, Chairman launched the ‘In-house developed Refining Catalyst manufactured from CMU’ and ‘Gasoline Multi- Functional Additives (GMFA) for LAC (Lowest Additive Concentration) Application’.
