Director (Finance) reviews SAP ERP Evolution Roadmap for IndianOil at CBTC, Gurugram
Mr Anuj Jain, Director (Finance), reviewed the present landscape of SAP ERP solution deployment at IndianOil and chaired the meeting for steering the course of SAP upgradation. The existing SAP ERP-6.0 EHP8, is due for a major product transformation to Suite for HANA (S/4 HANA) the next-generation business suite, with enhanced trending capabilities including low-code/no-code, Mobile & AI/ML analytics. The SAP upgradation is vital as the existing product is approaching end of life and end of support. The transformation project shall be an extensive & challenging exercise, demanding resources & time. A detailed presentation was made by M/s SAP India Inc, explaining the major activities and timelines for conceptualising the preparedness and enabling the upgradation to be future ready. The project envisages the involvement of all functions for review and validation of all business processes, including rigorous testing.
