Indian Energy delegation participates in high-profile energy meets & Plant visits

The high-level Indian delegation, comprising Mr Pankaj Jain, Mr S M Vaidya, HE Gopal Baglay, Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, along with other dignitaries, during their visit, called on Mr Ranil Wickremesinghe, President of Sri Lanka, and briefed him on the developments in the jointly identified priority areas for bilateral collaboration in the crucial energy sector. Mr Vaidya, on behalf of IndianOil, presented Indoor Solar Cooking system through Lanka IOC (LIOC), indigenously manufactured by IndianOil, with its symbolic unveiling in front of Mr Wickremesinghe. Mr Vaidya also presented the unique recycled jacket made by IndianOil under its 'Unbottled' initiative to Mr Wickremesinghe, who highly appreciated these remarkable initiatives of IndianOil. Mr Wickremesinghe also appreciated IndianOil for helping meet the energy needs of Sri Lanka with the support of the Government of India. Visit to Lanka IOC Trincomalee Oil Terminal The members of the Energy delegation from India, including Mr Pankaj Jain, H E Gopal Baglay, Mr S M Vaidya, and Heads of other Energy companies, visited the Trincomalee Oil Terminal of LIOC. Mr Manoj Gupta, MD, LIOC, along with his team, accorded a warm welcome to the delegation members. A brief presentation on the recent developments, facilities and future prospects was made to the dignitaries. The unparalleled efforts of the LIOC team during the crisis time in maintaining regular fuel supplies to the country were greatly appreciated by the delegation.
