Chairman releases first packed LPG Truck load from 100th Indane Bottling Plant, Sitarganj; Celebrates anniversaries of Durapave and Composite Cylinder

IndianOil proudly announced the release of the first truckload of packed LPG from its 100th Indane Bottling Plant, Sitarganj in Uttrakhand today. Mr S M Vaidya, Chairman, virtually flagged off the first packed LPG truck load bottled at the newly built state-ofthe-art facility at Sitarganj, in the presence of Mr V Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing). Mr K Shailendra, ED (LPG), Marketing Head Office (MKHO), Mr Hemant Rathore, ED & SH, Uttar Pradesh State Office-2 (UPSO-2) and other senior officials also joined the remarkable occasion. Chairman shared his enthusiasm for the milestone achievement of dispatching the first packed LPG truckload from Sitarganj Bottling Plant. He emphasised the paramount importance of safety and quality in the LPG cylinders to be supplied from the plant. Urging the team to strive for excellence, Mr Vaidya stated, “Let Sitarganj be a model plant by setting up a positive legacy complying with all safety norms in operations and deliver all cylinders fit & fine, securing a top-notch reputation in the market.” During this significant event, Chairman also took the opportunity to engage with team members at the Sitarganj Bottling Plant, fostering a sense of unity and commitment to excellence. Congratulating on marking the century figure of LPG Bottling Plants, Director (Marketing) said that this is momentous occasion, which will keep LPG flag flying high. He shared that this is an ultra-modern facility equipped with bottling of entire range of LPG cylinders with automation. He further complimented the team for setting up the plant at the picturesque location in Uttarakhand. On this occasion, the 7th anniversary of Durapave and the 3rd anniversary of Composite Cylinder were also celebrated. Highlighting the significance of Durapave, Mr Vaidya said, “It is one product which is helping in building the national highways. The whole country is on the move, and we are contributing immensely to nation-building.” He further added, “I think Durapave has huge potential. The Refineries Division is also enhancing the capacity of bitumen production since we firmly believe that bitumen will grow by leaps and bounds. The Refineries Division is getting ready, and so is the Marketing Division by virtue of having new storages for bitumen and new ways of marketing bitumen.” In this connection, Mr V Satish Kumar shared, “Launched on March 27, 2017, Durapave stands for Durable Pavement - a testament to the high-performance nature of our bituminous products. As the market leader in Bitumen, with a commanding market share of approximately 54%, IndianOil has played an integral role in paving the way for progress across the nation.” Speaking of composite cylinder, Mr Vaidya said this is one product which has got a huge potential, and we can do wonders with that. “We have around 7.3 lakh composite cylinders across the nation, accompanied by 15.3 lakh refills since its launch in March 2021. Composite cylinder is also garnering more customers because of the reduced deposit amount and other features”, said Chairman. He emphasised on pushing this product forward because of its safety aspects and convenience.
