Chairman commends IndianOil’s HR fraternity on International HR Day; highlights the importance of ‘passion’ in day-to-day activities
In a remarkable celebration of International HR Day on May 20, 2023, Mr S M Vaidya, Chairman, along with Mr Sujoy Choudhury, Director (P&BD), holding additional charge of Director (HR), honoured the diligent efforts of the company’s employees, especially the HR fraternity at IndianOil’s Corporate Office, New Delhi. While addressing the gathering, Mr Vaidya highlighted the pivotal role played by the HR department in fostering a harmonious work environment and nurturing a positive corporate culture. He appreciated the tireless commitment, professionalism and resilience of team HR towards employee well-being and development through continuous learning. Emphasising on IndianOil’s core values, Mr Vaidya shared examples where these values were exemplified and urged the HR fraternity to incorporate and showcase ‘passion’ in their day-to-day activities. IndianOil has consistently focused on providing a conducive work environment, promoting diversity and inclusion, and facilitating continuous learning and skill development opportunities. The celebration also showcased IndianOil’s unwavering commitment to prioritising a people-centric approach and the professional growth of its workforce. Earlier, the celebration commenced with Ms Rashmi Govil, ED (HRD & ER), extending a warm welcome to Mr Vaidya and Mr Choudhury by presenting them bouquet of flowers. As a symbolic gesture, a celebratory cake was cut to mark the occasion.
